Strange Vice PresentsHell On Reels
Wednesday 3rd September 2014 - 7.30 pm
Centre for Contemporary Arts
350 Sauchiehall Street
Glasgow G2 3JD
As part of our contribution to this year’s Scalarama programme, Strange Vice proudly presents Hell On Reels - a celebration of the Biker movie genre! A screening of a mystery biker film from the Strange Vice archive will be followed by a sound and vision spectacular with a live set from The Sensation Seekers.
The Sensation Seekers are the band in the best scene of that late 1960’s exploitation flick, the one where all the best looking girls in the coolest outfits danced with the ugliest guys in the ugliest shirts, and you wished you were there. They play Hammond-driven, fuzzed out film music, and they call it progsploitation!
Yes! This venue serves alcohol.
