These terms apply to consumer purchases through www.strangevice.co.uk. Our Returns & Cancellation Policy forms part of these terms.
Products and compatibility
Please read the product description before ordering, including the edition, format, region coding and any stated condition information. Check compatibility with your equipment and contact us if you need clarification.
Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for their applicable purpose and as described. Product images are illustrative unless stated otherwise, but this does not permit us to supply a different edition or omit an advertised component.
Minor manufacturing variations do not automatically make an item faulty. We assess concerns individually, considering the description, price, overall condition and any collectible packaging included. Our Returns & Cancellation Policy explains this in more detail.
Prices and payment
The applicable product prices, taxes and delivery charges are displayed before you place your order. Payment is taken using the payment method selected at checkout, including payment for pre-orders.
For international deliveries, applicable import taxes and charges, including whether they are collected at checkout or payable on arrival, are explained in our delivery information.
Order acceptance
Please check your order and delivery details before submitting them. Your contract with Strange Vice Limited is formed when we send your initial order acceptance email.
If we discover that an ordered item is unavailable or damaged, we will contact you promptly. We may offer alternatives such as waiting for incoming stock, choosing another product, accepting a specifically described damaged copy at a reduced price, or receiving voluntary store credit.
Any alternative requires your agreement. Store credit will not replace a monetary refund without your consent. If we cannot supply the agreed goods and no alternative is agreed, we will refund the relevant payment. This does not limit your statutory rights or any other remedies available under applicable law.
Delivery and pre-orders
Delivery options, charges and applicable timescales are provided before purchase. Unless a different delivery period is agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being formed.
Pre-order listings explain the expected release and delivery arrangements. Where an order includes pre-order goods, any arrangement to hold other items until the pre-order is available will be explained before purchase. We will notify you of material delays and seek your agreement to revised delivery arrangements where necessary.
A dispatch notification with tracking details is sent separately. Orders may be prepared and handed to the delivery provider before this notification is sent.
Where we arrange delivery, goods remain at our risk until received by you or a person you nominate to receive them. Please contact us about missing or damaged deliveries so we can investigate and resolve the matter.
Cancellations and returns
For eligible purchases, you may notify us of cancellation from the time you order until 14 days after the day you receive the goods. Where goods from one order are delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item. You must then send the goods back within 14 days of notifying us.
You are responsible for the direct return postage costs for change-of-mind cancellations. For cancellation of an entire order, we refund the purchase price and our least expensive standard delivery charge. Additional charges for upgraded delivery are not refundable.
We do not charge cancellation, processing or restocking fees. A deduction may be made for actual diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods’ nature, characteristics and functioning.
Change-of-mind cancellation rights do not apply to sealed audio or video recordings subsequently unsealed by you after delivery, or to individual newspapers and magazines. Recordings supplied unsealed, including those we unseal for protective packing, are not excluded on that basis. These exceptions do not affect faulty-goods rights.
If you notify us of cancellation, we will stop shipment where reasonably possible. If the parcel has already entered the delivery network and cannot be intercepted, you will need to return the goods under our policy. The timing of the dispatch notification does not affect your statutory rights.
Please see our Returns & Cancellation Policy for the full procedure, refund arrangements and exceptions. You may use our Returns & Cancellations form, contact us directly, or use the model cancellation form. Using a particular form is not compulsory.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
If goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us with the order details and a description of the problem.
You normally have a 30-day statutory right to reject goods that do not conform to the contract and receive a full refund. Repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund may also be available as required by law. These rights continue beyond the change-of-mind cancellation period.
We cover the necessary costs of resolving valid claims, including return postage and delivery of any replacement. Full details are in our Returns & Cancellation Policy.
Complaints
Please use our Contact Us page for complaints, including your order number and details of the issue. You may also email or write to us using the details above. We will investigate and respond with our proposed resolution.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
Website content and privacy

Third-party websites linked from this website operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future purchases. The terms applicable to your order are those provided when your contract is formed, unless a subsequent change is agreed with you.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by Scots law. This does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections applicable in their country of residence or restrict any right to bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable law.
