Drive-In Asylum
#16 is ready to go, and our main feature this issue is an exclusive
interview with Libby Hall, the unforgettable actress who portrayed the
title role in Larry Buchanan's 1961 regional filmmaking sensation "The
Naked Witch". Hall is also the widow of cult filmmaker S.F. Brownrigg
("Don't Look In The Basement", "Scum Of The Earth"), and she shares
memories of Brownrigg, Buchanan, and her brief but memorable film
presence.
A new feature in DIA is a column called where a guest
chooses a few movies to rave about, and our first Guest List is by
filmmaker Dustin Ferguson, director of "Moon of the Blood Beast", "The
Amityville Legacy", and many others.
Regular DIA contributors
also take on fantastic films like "The Beast Within", "The Deep",
"Revenge of the Living Dead Girls", "Effects", "Trip with the Teacher",
"Death Warmed Up", "The Asphyx", "Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter",
and an overview of the "Prom Night" film series.
And of course, plenty of vintage ads, back on paper the way they were meant to be seen!
