Francis, an emotionally numb loner, finds no solace in real life. Only in his bizarre, increasingly extreme fantasy world does he seem to gain control through pain—until a disturbing underworld pulls him into its depths. Driven by pain, lust, and the desire for redemption, he crosses every line—physical and mental. With its uncompromising visual language and an unvarnished exploration of isolation, identity and sexual deviance, 29 NEEDLES is not a film for the faint of heart - but a radical contribution to transgressive cinema.
