Appearing here in the valued mono mix—copies routinely sell for hundreds of dollars—Rev-Up is a gasser of a record, with Johnston hot off his recent hit with "Hey Little Cobra," ready to rumble with the cream of the hot rod club. Tracks from this album also appeared briefly on another '60s car-themed collection, but this is the premier set of mixes and tracks for this set of sessions, featuring the lone single issued in '63 as the Vettes, "Little Ford Ragtop" backed with "Happy Hodaddy (With Ragtop Caddy)."
