Rats – Night of Terror

Two hundred years after the last atomic bomb was dropped, the planet is nothing but a vast field of ruins. Driven by hunger, a group of survivors have made their way to the Manhattan peninsula. This former beacon of civilization could become their final refuge. But what awaits them there is beyond comprehension. 

In 1984, Bruno Mattei and his crime partner Claudio Fragasso, specialists in (very) low-budget productions (Virus cannibale, Cruel Jaws, Zombi 3) took on the post-apocalypse theme with Rats – Notte di terrore. In France, this nugget of Italian exploitation cinema will be released alternately under the titles Les Rats de Manhattan and Les Mutants de la seconde Humanité.
