A superstar... with stitches!
Music agent Bernie Stein, his scientist nephew Frankie, and a drugged-out roadie named Iggy team up to create a superstar by assembling the remains of deceased rockers. Everything goes according to plan until a mishap causes Iggy to steal Liberace's private parts instead of Jim Morrison's. The monster is brought to life and begins its journey to rock 'n' roll fame when the Liberace side of the monster starts to assert itself, with tragic consequences.
The only Frankenstein movie to bring Elvis and Liberace together in one lovable monster is finally coming to Blu-ray! That’s right, Rock ‘n’ Roll Frankenstein, the movie Fangoria called “a cult item for movie-goers in search of politically incorrect, mind-warping laughs,” is now available in an HD widescreen 25th-anniversary edition created from a digital scan of the 35mm negative. See why Rock ‘n’ Roll Frankenstein was a fan favourite at over 20 horror/fantastic film festivals, including Sitges, Fantasporto and BiFan.
