In a military research camp, scientists are working on a new bioweapon. By combining the genes of a snake and a bat, they are trying to create an extraordinary mutant. However, the experiment fails and the flying reptile escapes from the laboratory. A special unit immediately takes up the pursuit. Their mission is to eliminate the threat in order to prevent the failure from becoming public knowledge. Meanwhile, a group of survivors of a shipwreck arrive on the island, unaware of the danger. Together with the special forces soldiers, they try to survive, but the scientists have other plans...
