On a remote island off the coast of England, a lighthouse is the scene of a mysterious massacre. A group of scholars subsequently returns to the island to investigate the incident and recover an ancient treasure. But their stay quickly turns into a nightmare: between buried secrets, murderous madness, and a murderous presence lurking within the tower, the island becomes a deadly trap from which there is no escape.
