Macabre Legends of the Colony

In Guatemala, Mexican luchador Tinieblas purchases a macabre old painting that, at the stroke of midnight, will transport him, along with his ring partners Mil Máscaras and El Fantasma Blanco, to a colonial era populated by Spanish conquistadors, Aztec warriors, and an evil witch dedicated to human sacrifice. This Mexican production, shot in Guatemala, stars Mil Máscaras and Tinieblas, previously seen here on Filmotronik with El Santo and Blue Demon in "Las momias de Guanajuato" (1971), alongside newcomer El Fantasma Blanco, whose unverified legend holds that the mask was actually Argentine Elio Carlo Colosseti Drazich, better known by his nom de guerre Coloso Colosseti.
